We are convinced that accidents are fundamentally preventable and orient our activities to protecting our employees. A comprehensive training program comprises the centerpiece of our “Heartbeat for Safety” concept. We continually upgrade our safety standards and involve our employees.  Prevention is the key to maximum safety. Our trainings on hazard identification, risk assessment and risk minimization play an important part in our efforts. Lenzing has also established health and safety committees at every site. They define common goals and strategies and specific programs.
