Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

  • You will lead innovation projects from a commercial point of view from idea till commercialization and lead all commercial aspects in a multifunctional launch team
  • You will organize the production of product marketing materials, develop & create content in alignment with stakeholders from relevant departments, and coordinate strategic nonwoven projects from a global perspective
  • You will contribute to product specification analysis, quality improvements and trend analysis (especially in sustainability), and have operational responsibility for the Voice of Customer process
  • You will analyse and optimize the product portfolio, with a focus on profitability
  • You will support in the creation of product management reporting (including developing and conducting internal & external surveys), and sales & other training materials
  • You will be accountable for the execution of the material number process in Nonwovens

Our expectations for this exciting role

  • You hold a Masters degree in Product Management & Innovation, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; and you have some relevant professional experience (eg an internship)
  • You have experience in Product Management (product design, specifications, innovation, value proposition, technical know-how about relevant production technologies, claims); and knowledge of marketing & branding, with a strong marketing mindset (materials, positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy) and a creative flair
  • You have strong project management and analytical skills (business & competitive intelligence); the ability to think conceptually, and a solutions-oriented disposition
  • You are a great communicator, self-motivated and a flexible team player with a hands-on approach and good intercultural sensitivity
  • You are knowledgeable about, and interested in, sustainability management; and some knowledge of the nonwoven value chain would be beneficial
  • You have excellent spoken & written English skills, German language skills are also highly desirable

The monthly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 4000,- with a willingness to overpay – depending on qualifications and experience.
Additionally, you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system.
