Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:

  • Deliver effective account relationship management and develop increased business from existing and potential Brand & Retail accounts
  • Establish and grow account relationships and develop account performance
  • Provide value-adding solutions promoting Lenzing’s specialty fibers at leading and influential brands and retailers
  • Identify opportunities for joint growth and act as a (strategy) sparring partner.
  • Stimulate desire for VEOCEL™ co-branding, implement VEOCEL™ partnerships and create market pull.
  • Create and support the development of communication and marketing concepts in collaborations with brands & retailers.(storytelling, co-branding, POS promotions)
  • Cooperate with the nonwoven value chain to generate demand for outstanding end consumer products.
  • Work closely with our global teams, as well as developing and managing relationships with global partners to generate leads and opportunities
  • Support implementation of account’s sales & marketing activities and planning, providing input to other commercial teams to support strategy development and execution
  • Compile reports on progress and derive actionable tasks and learning

Our expectations for this exciting role:

  • 6+ yrs experience in business development, sales or account management in FMCG industry or interacting with FMCG from the nonwoven industry
  • Deep knowledge of the value chain network (fiber, nonwoven, converters)
  • Skilled in defining and implementing marketing initiatives and programs
  • Self-Driven, creative thinker who is able to translate customer needs and pain points into actionable tasks and value adding solutions, as well as market trends and customer requests into innovative solutions
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a team focused mentality with proven abilities to work collaboratively and think strategically
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and networking skills; as an influencer and a manager with the ability to build rapport and credibility
  • Advanced IT skills (CRM, MS Office, MS Outlook)
  • Language proficiency (written and spoken) in Business English, additional languages are a plus
  • Account-related travel of ~50% per month (12-15 days/month)
