Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

  • Execute large capital investment projects which are shaping the future of the Group
  • Develop and implement investments projects contracting and purchasing strategies with the buying teams 
  • Build strong networks with internal customers based on mutual trust and respect
  • Achieve operational excellence in CAPEX purchasing
  • Roll out global purchasing directive ensure the Lenzing lifesaving rules & company social responsibility in CAPEX purchasing

Our expectations for this exciting role

  • Advanced mechanical / chemical degree or industrial engineering degree respectively Bachelor degree with relevant business experience
  • Extensive experience in global industrial procurement, excellent negotiation and analytical skills, very good communication skills in English, appreciated Mandarin & German, intercultural sensibility, result-oriented proactive approach
  • Effective skills in SAP, cost breakdown structures, international law / contracting, tools for supplier development programs
  • Team player as well as responsible, independent, resilient and assertive character

The yearly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 81.200.- with a willingness to overpay – depending on qualifications and experience.
Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system.
