As Thailand’s only lyocell plant, Lenzing Thailand highlights our dedication to responsible fiber production in Asia. The facility in Prachinburi plays a key role in meeting the growing demand for TENCEL™ branded lyocell fibers, producing 100,000 tons of high-quality fiber annually.
Located in Industrial Park 304, we leverage excellent infrastructure and bioenergy to minimize CO₂ emissions while supporting the global shift towards eco-responsible fibers. Our 270+ employees drive innovation in sustainable manufacturing, making us a vital hub in Lenzing’s global production network.

Annual production
Lenzing Thailand produces around 100,000 tons of lyocell fiber annually, delivering cellulosic solutions for a large variety of textile applications.
Energy source
The site aims to achieve scope 1 and 2 carbon neutrality by 2030 by using 100 percent bioenergy and in the medium term 95 percent biomass energy by 2027.
Ramp-up in 2022
The plant was completed on schedule and within budget after two and a half years of construction, despite challenges arising from a global pandemic.
