ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Lenzing transforms certified and controlled wood into high-performance dissolving wood pulp. As one of the only producers worldwide to offer both softwood and hardwood pulp, we enable optimum performance for diverse fiber production needs.
At the pulp mill in Brazil, LDCel hardwood dissolving pulp is produced, while Lenzing Biocel Paskov in the Czech Republic specializes in Biocel softwood dissolving pulp. Both pulp products are tested for use in Lenzing’s own fiber production to support consistent product quality.
The wood used as raw material comes from certified or controlled sources. The pulp is produced using a totally chlorine-free bleaching process based on oxygen compounds. LDCel and Biocel dissolving pulp are developed for defined fiber production requirements and applications.
