Fiber and pulp production at Lenzing: closing loops and driving change
TECHNOLOGY & PRODUCTION
Lenzing fibers are made of cellulose, the core component of all plants on earth. Our source material wood is perfectly renewable: Trees regrow. Ultimately, plants convert sunlight, water and atmospheric CO₂ into cellulose, from which aesthetic and highly functional fibers are made.
At Lenzing, continuous technological innovation drives our transformation of wood into high-performance fibers. Through decades of R&D investment, we've developed highly efficient processes that maximize utilization of resources.
