How you benefit from the VEOCEL™ brand
Derived from renewable wood
VEOCEL™ fibers are wood-based, derived from renewable wood sources through a pulping process and finally made into fibers. They fibers bring the inherent advantages of cellulose to personal care and hygiene products: natural absorbency, liquid distribution, biodegradability¹ and versatility.
Responsible production
VEOCEL™ branded fibers are manufactured with high production standards with low emissions to air and water, thereby safeguarding resources for future generations².
Biodegradability
VEOCEL™ fibers are biodegradable in soil, freshwater and marine conditions, and compostable under industrial and home conditions, thus they can return to nature.¹
Responsible wood and pulp sourcing
The raw material for VEOCEL™ fibers is derived from wood sources grown in responsibly managed forests³, following the stringent guidelines of the Lenzing Wood and Pulp Policy and applying trusted forest certification systems.
Smooth on skin
VEOCEL™ fibers are naturally smooth, enabling fabrics to glide over skin. This makes them a very good material choice for wet wipes owing to the finer surface of VEOCEL™ fibers.
Clean and safe
VEOCEL™ fibers are compliant with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Product class I, including Appendix 6, affirming that the fibers have been tested for numerous regulated and non-regulated harmful substances, and therefore, indicating that the fibers are harmless to human health. They are awarded with the FKT label “MEDICALLY TESTED – TESTED FOR TOXINS” and have passed FKT’s strict body compatibility tests.

The Higg MSI tools assess impacts of materials from cradle-to-gate for a finished material (e.g. to the point at which the materials are ready to be assembled into a product).
