LENZING™ Sodium Sulphate: versatile co-product of fiber manufacturing
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
In the pharmaceutical industry, special-grade sodium sulphate (Na₂SO₄) is used in laxative formulation, drug purification, and fermentation media for biopharmaceuticals, ensuring their high purity. Standard-grade sodium sulphate is used industrially in detergent manufacturing, glass production, paper and textile processing, among other applications.
LENZING™ Sodium Sulphate is a co-product of the continuous process of viscose and modal fiber production, and as such is available in consistent quality and stable quantity year round. Lenzing Group’s quality-controlled production route leads to sodium sulphate with higher levels of purity as compared to unrefined sodium sulphate.
Lenzing Group offers a portfolio of sodium sulphate, with standard grade supplied globally from three sites and special grades for high-end applications coming from the Lenzing (Austria) site.
