In this role, you will control and manage regulatory strategies for the global product safety and regulatory process to deliver a competitive and safe target product profile.
You will lead and develop the product safety & regulatory affairs team, having overall accountability for their performance.
You will establish regulatory and product safety priorities or budgets and allocate resources and workloads to cross-functional partners and customers at global, regional, and local levels.
You will manage the certification portfolio and new certification requests to demonstrate the safety and compliance of Lenzing fibers for their use in appropriate areas.
You will interact with national and international agencies, external certification bodies and associations (e.g., EDANA working groups, FSC, PEFC, FKT, etc)
You will control the development, maintenance and dissemination of high-quality documents for product safety and regulatory compliance.
You have an advanced degree in natural/technical sciences – ideally in chemistry, biology or related field. with a strong background in regulatory affairs and product safety.
You have exceptional knowledge of global legislations, regulations, standards and norms applicable to cellulosic fibers and products, with respect to product, process and environmental safety.
You bring extensive experience in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
You proactively monitor industry developments, specifically in relation to textile and nonwoven fibers and components.
You have exceptional personal skills for building internal and external stakeholder relationships.
You have minimum C2 English skills - German, Bahasa Indonesian and/or Chinese would be a plus.

The annual gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 78.400- with a willingness to overpay – depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
