You will be responsible for the initiation, planning and execution of projects for development or optimization of fibers for nonwoven applications in lab, pilot and commercial scale with internal and external partners
You will plan, supervise and evaluate pilot and commercial trials
You will manage interfaces with labs, pilot lines, operations, product management, quality, legal, business development, sales, technical customer service and downstream partners.
You will be involved in the execution of literature and patent research
You will initiate and draft product and application patents
You will participate in the drafting and presentation of scientific publications
You have an Academic degree (university, FH) in chemistry or natural scientific discipline or textile/NW engineering
You have experience in Cellulose Acetate tow production
You are experienced in Nonwoven processes, such as Carded Spunlace, Carded Needlepunch, Carded Pulp, Airlaid, Wetlaced and/or Wetlaid is a plus
You are an exceptional analytical problem solver with strong project management skills & experience; Six Sigma, DOE and SPC experience beneficial
You are a creative, self-motivated self-starter with good communication skills and experience in working with cross-functional topics
You are fluent in English and have a willingness to travel

The monthly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 4200.- with a willingness to overpay – depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
