Purpose & key responsibilities of the role
  • You will act as a key technical contact for filament customers globally, providing technical support for filament customers in current and future applications.

  • You will also provide technical support in product and application innovation processes, as well as quality management (QM) improvements, collaborating with technology, operations, logistics, QM, and technical customer service (TCS).

  • You will execute the TCS part in claim/complaint management processes – performing, coordinating and communicating according to technical investigations.

  • You will create and maintain technical documentation for filament processing, tools, and fabric samples to educate customers.

  • You will carry out cooperation projects with institutes, machine or chemical producers to facilitate technical know-how generation and market growth.

  • You will support Filament Sales and Business Development at the customer end and during exhibitions, seminars, and workshops.

Your ideal profile for this exciting role
  • You hold a graduate-level degree in Textile Technology or a related field, bringing at least 10 years of experience in the textile industry.

  • You have extensive knowledge and experience in textile processing, particularly in yarn treatments such as twisting, sizing, texturising, and warp-beaming.

  • You have good knowledge of fabric production technologies, with hands-on experience in both knitting and weaving processes. You possess a basic understanding of dyeing and finishing technologies.

  • You demonstrate excellent customer service and conflict management skills.

  • You bring a high level of intercultural awareness to your work.

  • You can effectively communicate in English (B2), German language skills are also highly beneficial

  • You are willing to travel (up to 50%).

The monthly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 4.700,- with a willingness to overpay – depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
