This position will coordinate the maintenance work planning function in a continuous process manufacturing facility.
The preferred candidate will:
Provide engineering and maintenance support to ensure the plant continues to operate in a safe and reliable manner
Support the Engineering Department with specialized knowledge of mechanical/ electrical equipment and parts used within the plant
Provide direction to maintenance and engineering to ensure safety, productivity, work quality and reliability when required
Experience in adhering to budgets, planning maintenance projects, sourcing parts and equipment and controlling storeroom inventories
Performs estimates for maintenance and repair costs
Coordinate with Purchasing on the procurement of labor, equipment and supplies from vendors
Ensures maintenance hourly activities /work orders are planned in a safe and productive manner
Provide input and direction in organizing major plant repairs and maintenance shutdowns
The preferred candidate will have:
10+ years of experience in an industrial plant environment with good practical knowledge of plant and equipment maintenance requirements
Excellent communication skills as well as the desire and ability to work in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well with Grantt Charts and other computer skills to be able to effectively use Engineering software, database and site systems
Knowledge of SAP and utilizes effectively
Analytical or systematic approach skills to be able to troubleshoot problems and come up with solutions to difficult problems
Adaptable to process change in daily operation quickly and respond to business needs
Knowledge of Safety, Health and Environmental regulations
