Purpose & key responsibilities of the role
  • In this role you will contribute to the Lenzing energy and decarbonization strategy, with the objective to identify, evaluate and implement energy optimization projects

  • You will identify these energy optimization potentials through data analysis, simulation work, on-site assessments, energy balances and efficiency calculations

  • You will be involved in the development and implementation of technical energy efficiency measures, coordinating project activities

  • You will further develop the energy and decarbonization strategy

Your ideal profile for this exciting role
  • You hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Chemical/Process Engineering, or a comparable technical field / experience

  • You bring several years’ experience in identifying and evaluating energy efficiency opportunities as well as in project management / execution in energy related fields

  • You have excellent experience in energy balancing along with the ability to analyze complex energy data, including simulation and modeling tools

  • You have strong cross-cultural communication skills

  • You are at English level C1 or higher

The monthly gross salary for this position (in Austria) is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 4.700.- with a willingness to overpay – depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
