As a Senior Expert in Nonwoven (NW) roll good creation processes and applications, you will:
Act as product owner for technical nonwoven portfolios, ensuring quality specifications and portfolio optimisation
Manage the product lifecycle for defined application fields, including strategic portfolio development and upselling strategies
Translate market needs into product positioning, pricing concepts, and compelling B2B marketing narratives
Drive customer engagement by providing technical and market expertise, directly supporting commercial teams
Initiate and lead cross-functional innovation projects from idea to launch. Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Production, Quality, and Sustainability to drive strategic growth
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform product strategy and innovation pipeline
Ensure products meet high standards for quality and sustainability, aligned with evolving customer and market expectations
Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Material Science, or a related field: a technical background is a must
7+ years of international experience in product or project management within the nonwoven industries in the technical application field
Deep technical and market expertise in nonwoven applications e.g., medical, filtration, geotextiles, electrical separators or related fields (ideally cellulose-based)
Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling B2B marketing narratives
High customer orientation with experience in international sales and direct customer engagement
Proven track record in leading cross-functional innovation projects and driving strategic growth
Strategic thinker with a growth mindset, capable of challenging existing concepts and driving new ideas
Independent, open-minded, and proactive working style with a passion for innovation
Leading by influence skillset
Excellent English communication skills are needed and German is a plus

The monthly gross salary for this position, according to the collective agreement in the chemical industry and based on a 38-hour working week, will be at least €4.700.- with a willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
