Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

  • You will ensure budgeted volume placement and price achievement with a balanced customer portfolio; and develop & deliver volume ramp up for expansions

  • You will identify and capture short-/mid-/long-term growth opportunities across customers, products, use segments, regions and applications

  • You will develop go-to-market strategies for new products within product- and application development projects

  • You will work in collaboration with Regional BD, Global Marketing and Global Key Accounts to promote Lenzing filament at brand and retail level

  • You will maintain up-to-date planning and actual customer data in the CRM, and collaborate with the filament team, and global & regional commercial functions

  • You will lead and develop a team, reinforcing commercial and technical excellence

Your ideal profile for this exciting role

  • You hold a degree in Textile or Business Management and have at least 10 years total commercial experience, with a minimum of 5 years in sales in the textile industry (ideally in cellulosic filament yarn)

  • You have good technical downstream knowledge on yarn treatments and fabric production

  • You have a strong track record of identifying market opportunities, product introduction, positioning, marketing & branding, and scaling up the business

  • You have excellent commercial skills and sound financial understanding, outstanding networking and negotiation skills, and a strong ability to develop & maintain customer relationships

  • You have strong leadership skills and high level of intercultural awareness; and you have English language skills at level B2 or equivalent

  • A willingness to travel is essential, as the role involves up to 50% travel

The monthly gross salary for this position, according to the collective agreement in the chemical industry and based on a 38-hour working week, will be at least €5600,- with a willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
