Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

• You will drive Category Management and global savings projects in various categories like Civil & Construction (Identify, lead and realize savings projects including market analysis and conduct inquiries)
• You will prepare & conduct negotiations for global demands including the documentation of commercial agreements 
• You will be responsible for Global category Management for the assigned commodity groups, having functional responsibility for site Purchasing Specialists
• You will conduct requests for quotations & proposals
• You will manage claims together with internal stakeholders
• You will qualify new suppliers together with internal stakeholders with regard to their technological competence, manufacturing capacity and reliability, etc. 

Our expectations for this exciting role

• You hold an advanced Commercial, Legal or Technical degree, or a Bachelors’ degree with relevant business experience
• You have considerable experience in Industrial procurement, excellent negotiation and analytical skills, intercultural awareness and a result-oriented, proactive approach
• You bring effective skills in SAP and MS-Office, cost breakdown structures, law/contracting and tools for supplier development programs
• You are a team player as well as responsible, independent, resilient and assertive character
• You have strong communication skills in German & English
