In Detail

Viscose staple fibers a dried in a drum dryer system. After a first drying section the fibers are opened by an intermediate opener before entering second drying section and reconditioning part.

After a Lenzing Technik wet opening system the viscose staple fiber enters equally distributed via the whole working width into the first drying section of the Lenzing Technik drum drier by a conveyor. The air which is pre-heated in heat exchangers either by hot water or by steam sucks the fibers onto the surface of the dryer drums where a uniform drying is done. After the first drying zone the fibre mat is opened by an intermediate opener before entering the second drying and reconditioning zone.

At the end of the Lenzing Technik drum dryer the fibers are sucked off by a fan and blown to the Lenzing Technik Fiber Opener.
