Think and act sustainably: the Lenzing way

Each Lenzing fiber is made of cellulose, a natural component of our renewable source material wood. A characteristic of cellulose is its biodegradability: At the end of their life cycle, our fibers can re-enter the eco-system, preparing the ground on which new plants grow. This miracle of nature is our inspiration.

Cellulose as a raw material and our special production technologies comprise the basis for our sustainable model of the circular economy. We use all valuable components offered by our sustainable and natural raw material wood. If at all possible, we process our raw materials in closed loop production cycles. Our fibers are biodegradable at the end of their life cycle. Nature returns to nature.
