The Dornbirn-MFC is in its 49th year and is considered a lead event in the field of man-made fibers. More than 700 participants from the whole textile processing chain and more than 30 countries will experience the latest trends and developments in the man-made fibers industry and academic research.
In 2-1/2 days more than 100 lectures will be presented and discussed in 3 halls by renown experts. A key element of the congress is the presentation of fiber innovations of industrial relevance. |

Bionics is the Main Topic of the Next Congress |

The 49th Dornbirn-MFC, 15 - 17 September 2010 will deal thoroughly with the topic of Bionics, starting already in the plenary session. For the first time lectures from the automotive industry are strongly represented. The other main themes of the next congress will be:

Lenzing has been supporting a development project in South Africa since the beginning of 2010. The partner is the association for development cooperation HUMANA People to People Austria which uses the profits made from collecting and reselling used clothes to finance numerous development projects.
