International communication award for TV magazine "Lenzing Aktuell"
20.10.2006
The federation of European business communicators associations, FEIEA, annually awards the "Grand Prix" to the best European corporate media. Lenzing AG is the happy winner for 2006 in category "audio-visual communications".
Christian Reisinger, member of the Lenzing AG management board, Birgit Schiefersteiner, editor-in-chief of "Lenzing Aktuell" and Oskar Stadler, director of BTV, jointly received the award in Vienna on 13 October.
The format is the only one of its kind in Austria and the program has been covering Lenzing AG on a fortnightly basis for seven years now, addressing the 80,000 potential viewers of BTV Vocklabrück. The twenty-minute feature accompanies Lenzing AG to international fairs, presents new products and interesting corporate divisions, as well as providing information on current business developments. The program serves fresh news on the world leader in cellulose fiber technology to friends of the company in the region - and to company employees even at their corporate cafeteria.
Angelika Guldt, head of corporate communications at Lenzing, who had been editor-in-chief and anchorwoman in the first two years of the program, has been attending to the program from the corporate side for now more than five years: "When we started out, none of us involved imagined that such long-term media-project would evolve from this. We are therefore all the more happy to see that this innovative concept has developed into such a long runner."
