LENZING AG: Jochen Werz Appointed Spokesman of the Managing Board

The Supervisory Board of Lenzing AG has decided to appoint Dipl. Kfm. Jochen Werz, age 37, Spokesman of the Managing Board of Lenzing AG.
The position entails the coordination of the Managing Board's activities, as well as the internal and external representation of the company. Jochen Werz will therefore assume the responsibilities for press and public-relations activities, as well as for investor relations, in addition to his previous tasks.
Jochen Werz has been a Member of the Managing Board of Lenzing AG since May 1997, where he has been responsible to date for the worldwide fiber activities of the Group, as well as for research and development.
The other Managing Board tasks will be continued as before
