Tapes and Yarns

Lenzing Plastics manufactures monoaxial stretched tapes and flat yarns made of polyethylene and polypropylene for following industrial applications:

1. Flat or fibrillated yarns for woven fabrics such as
   
   
   • Fabrics for the building and construction industry
   • Geotextiles, agrotextiles
   • Tarpaulins for covering, packaging and protection
   • Decorative fabrics for upholstery, wall-coverings, blinds, awnings, etc.

1. Tapes for knitted products such as
   
   
   • Shading nets
   • Protections nets against wind, hail, birds, etc. 
   • Scaffolding protection nets 
   • Knitted bags for agricultural good (potatoes, etc.)
   • Advertising sreens (for instance on tennis courts)

1. Closing tapes for garbage bags
   
   
   • Lenzing Plastics is producing these tapes under the regulations of the French AFNOR rules.
