Installation
The installation of an artificial turf pitch is a challenging work and cannot be done by any construction company. Modern turf systems have sophisticated solutions for different applications, like football, tennis, hockey, etc. The Manufacturer’s installation guidelines have to be carried out with due diligence, especially when certifications from leagues or sport associations are desired by the customer.
 The quality of an artificial turf pitch depends considerably on the installation process. An evenly plain underlay construction with adequate suspension characteristics is necessary. Rain water precipitation requires a drainage system, appropriate to the climatic situation at the pitch location. The artificial turf lanes have to be fixed carefully with adhesives to avoid warps of the surface and unevenness.
Special skills are required for the fitting of the marking lines, especially at non-linear sections. The infill with siliceous sand and rubber granulate has to be carried out in several steps, one layer after the other – to avoid the blades of grass from snapping off. Mistakes in this process are difficult and costly to be repaired.
Find competent partner
 Therefore manufacturers of artificial turf need competent partners for the installation of their product. A construction company with special experience in the installation of sport surfaces and the adequate equipment are required. The customer, e.g. football clubs, stadium operators, golf clubs or municipal communities, expect optimal quality and post-purchase service commitment. An approved installer may also be the local contact person for customers in export markets.
