Lenzing PROFILEN® yarns are used to improve long term comfort by reducing the friction against the skin and transporting body moisture away from the skin.

While the friction of natural fiber garments increases with the moisture absorption of the natural fibers, garments made of Lenzing PROFILEN® continue to protect the skin.

Less friction means less skin irritation and less heat build-up, thus increasing comfort even during extreme physical activities. Woven fabrics and knits are more abrasion- resistant without losing softness, low friction and withstand frequent washing.

We offer several types of filaments based on the titers, colours, tenacity and texture that the garment manufacturers require.

Lenzing PROFILEN® yarns are used to improve shoe liners, running apparel, swimsuits, jacket liners, bicycle shorts and any other garments that are subjected to friction.

Hubert Gantioler is currently running the Marathon Des Sables, an endurance race of 230 km over 7 days in the Sahara desert.
