Lenzing Viscose® Sets the Industry Standard
Lenzing Viscose® is a cellulosic fiber made from a renewable resource – wood. Based on its natural origin it has the ability to incorporate and absorb water. Lenzing Viscose® provides the purity, skin friendly, breathable properties important for hygiene and other sensitive applications.
Lenzing Viscose® Spundyed introduces more color to the world of nonwovens. Thanks to a unique technique, color pigments can be incorporated directly into the fiber. As many as 9,000 color formulations have already been stored and can be supplied to customers. Specific color shades can be newly created on request.
Viscostar® has been developed in close cooperation with the market for use in tampon production to meet increasing consumer performance demands. Viscostar® has a substantial history of use in tampon manufacture and fulfills all of the relevant regulatory approvals to provide customer confidence.
