Disclaimer
The next general shareholders' meeting of Lenzing AG will be held on 30 April 2010 at the chamber of commerce in Vöcklabruck, Upper Austria. The invitation and further information will be provided in due time.
We would like to advise our shareholders that the mandatory legislation as detailed in the amendment to the Austrian Stock Corporation Act (Aktienrechts-Änderungsgesetz) of 2009 is to be fully applied, irrespective of whether it is part of the company's current articles of association as of 12 June 2008 or not.
Moreover, we would like to advise our shareholders in accordance with section 262, paragraph 20, of the Austrian Stock Corporation Act in the version of the 2009 amendment that it will not be possible to accept lists of stocks and shares held on account in safe custody via an international and secure communication network of banking (SWIFT), at least not in time for the upcoming general shareholders'meeting.
