Lenzing Modal® is produced from indigenous beech wood and thus it is 100% natural. Pulp and fiber production both employ the principle of sustainability. Lenzing produces the pulp used for fiber production which gives it control over the entire production process. THE ECO-FIBER
TENCEL® is produced from eucalyptus wood taken exclusively from forest plantations which practice sustainability. Eucalyptus grows very quickly and without any artificial rrigation or gene manipulation in so-called „wood farms“ for industrial use. As a result of he optimum moisture transport and superior climate and skin properties, TENCEL® ist the perfect fiber for Activewear, Jeans, Chinos and bedding products.

Lenzing FR® is a cellulose fiber which has been proven to provide exceptionally high heat protection. Protective clothing wearers’ physiological performance power was examined in an extensive study. The results were presented to specialists at Interschutz 2010 together with the author of the study, Univ.-Prof. Herfried Pessenhofer.
