TENCEL® and COOLMAX® - an interesting combination
08.07.2007
The two fibers complement each other to perfection: COOLMAX® stands for High-tech fabrics made of polyester fibers from Advansa which remove moisture at great speed. TENCEL® stands for naturalness and the highest possible moisture absorbency. The combination of the highest possible moisture absorption capacity (TENCEL®) and the rapid removal of moisture (COOLMAX®) are the concept for the success of textiles of these two fibers. Together, TENCEL® and COOLMAX® guarantee a drier skin surface when performing sports.
The TENCEL®/COOLMAX® comfort system TENCEL® and COOLMAX® are used in a double-knit textile. On the outside TENCEL® is responsible for the absorption and distribution of moisture. On the inside COOLMAX® guarantees the rapid removal of moisture, thus keeping the skin dry and cool. TENCEL® has the ability to absorb a great deal of moisture. This has the effect of regulating the climate of the skin. A thermal buffer between the skin and textile prevents sportsmen from overheating and guarantees an optimum skin climate. The rapid cooling down of the skin via the removal of moisture helps to improve the performance.
