Soft cushioning effect - superior protection

The foamed and soft polypropylene film from Lenzing is so to speak the ”airbag” of the film world. Its most prominent feature is the very high cushioning effect. It effectively prevents damage to the conductor segments from the armour wires.

In addition, it is an ideal and favourably priced replacement for PVC. The low basis weight increases the economic efficiency. The PP-SS type is resistant to all kinds of cable materials. Thus the closed-cell unstretched film offers all the advantages of Lenzing propylene films with which we are already familiar.

Perfect cushioning when binding and insulating

Wherever reinforcements (armouring) are used, foamed soft polypropylene film is a perfect binding material. As a result of its high cushioning effect, it
offers ideal and reliable protection. It can be used as an efficient and economic alternative to PVC particularly in low and medium voltage cables ( 1 to 30 kV).
