PTFE is used in the sports-, the car-, as well as the chemical industry. In addition to the Lenzing PROFILEN® products, we offer our customers the benefit of our know-how allowing customer-specific developments.
With more than 30 years of experience in processing this high-tech material, we are in a position to establish contacts and to provide support. Upon request we assist our customers on many projects, from the first tests to the final launching of a product. In addition to our own technical know-how, we also link up to a wide network of research and processing specialists.
Lenzing LENOFIL® Multifilament’s out of fluorothermoplastic polymers like PVDF
Lenzing plastics is known for its PTFE products sold under the trade name Lenzing PROFILEN®. PTFE is in many concerns the best polymer available on the market. Nevertheless there are some characteristics that disqualifies it for some applications. Therefore we did intensive development work and had a deeper look into the world of fluorothermoplastic materials. Lenzing plastics invested in a high end multifilament extrusion line capable to produce a broad range of excellent fluorothermoplastic filaments.
