Yarns for implants
The anti-adhesive characteristics of Lenzing PROFILEN® are used to prevent the sticking of our yarns to tissues. Due to it is excellent biocompatible. Regarding the pureness of Lenzing PROFILEN® our yarns are the first choice for permanent implants. The low friction properties of PTFE makes it essential in treatment of open-wounds, burns and other medical applications.

- 100% pure PTFE (without any dyes or other additives)
- Yarns are made of 100% free of APFO PTFE resin
- Surface structure prevents merging of skin and tissues
- PTFE is ideally suited for application of implants

- Different titers available
- Clean room twisting facility and precursor manufactured under very high temperature (high temperature makes the yarn germ-free)
