Lenzing PROFILEN® PTFE sutures are made of 100% PTFE without PFOA. The soft touch of Lenzing PROFILEN® Suture S guarantee a good handling and a high knot pull strength. Lenzing PROFILEN® Suture HS is our high tensile strength type with stable elongation. Lenzing PROFILEN® sutures are best suited for permanent implants. Because of the difficult manufacturing of the yarn, the selections on the market are very low. Therefore are only a few PTFE yarn manufacturers are able to produce surgical suture made of PTFE.
