In Detail
Fiber staples which come from fleece forming unit still contain pollutants such as sulphuric acid, sodium sulphate, zinc sulphate, carbon bisulphide, finely-distributed sulphur and residual xanthate which must be removed. Furthermore, the fibers must reach a certain grade of whiteness and possess certain spinning characteristics. Aftertreatment is divided into the steps detailed below.
Fiber fleece is transported through the treatment areas with fleece borders and small presses (1) to the large press (2). Each treatment area has a separate sprinkler (3) and collecting trough (4). The softening section (5) has a separate belt conveyor.
