Lenzing AG: Supervisory board extends mandate for Peter Untersperger until 31 March 2013

Christian Reisinger will retire from the company at his own request on 31 March 2010
The supervisory board at its meeting today has decided to extend the contract of Peter Untersperger (CEO) by another three years until March 2013.
Christian Reisinger who joined the company 20 years ago has been a member of the management board since 1 January 1999. He will retire from the company on 31 Mach 2010. As a member of the management board Christian Reisinger has been instrumental in promoting Lenzing’s position as world market leader in viscose fibers. He greatly contributed to making Lenzing an international company. Christian Reisinger was also responsible for developing Lenzing Technik GmbH into an important regional engineering and mechanical construction company. The supervisory board thanks him for his untiring service and wishes him all the best as well as success in his future activities.
After Christian Reisinger’s retirement the supervisory board intends to appoint a new third member of the management board, currently consisting also of Friedrich Weninger.
