Acetic acid (C₂H₄O₂) is a clear, colourless liquid with a pungent odour. Lenzing AG produces acetic acid as a by-product of pulp production from beech wood. It is recovered in several process steps and processed to quality, food-grade acetic acid. Our product is free from solids and of high purity, therefore applicable for human consumption.
