Scrubber
Treatment of high-concentration waste gas streams
Very often the production, processing and refining of many industrial products demand the use of aggressive chemicals. The resulting waste gases must not be released into the atmosphere without prior purification for reasons of environmental protection. With a gas scrubber, contaminants of a much higher concentration can be treated than for example would be possible in the biological process.
The absorption lines are adapted to suit the application at hand depending on the type, composition and concentration of the gases to be cleaned. In this respect, the column dimensions, height of saddle packing, spraying quantities and washing liquid are optimized for the particular application.
When it comes to selecting the washing liquid, care should be taken that this guarantees the highly selective absorption of pollutants – up to the emission values authorized by the authorities. In many cases, however, the regeneration and reuse of the loaded washing liquids are decisive for the economic feasibility.
In this respect, our waste gas scrubbers are both effective and economic systems which have been used in various industrial branches for years.
