Heimtextil: Botanic soft fiber with a greater bulking force
A new development presented for the first time at Heimtextil Frankfurt 2008: Especially for the towel sector, Lenzing has developed a Lenzing Modal® fiber with a greater bulking force. This innovation, especially suited to terry toweling products, now makes towels of Lenzing Modal® softer and fluffier than every before.
The new fiber variant, Lenzing Modal® LOFT, improves both the softness and bulking force of towels. In tests the innovative fiber demonstrates that it can retain the bulking force under loads of 1 kg in the long-term.
Enhanced absorbency
Along with the improvement in the bulking force of the Lenzing Modal® LOFT fiber, Lenzing has also managed to successfully upgrade all of the properties typical for terry towelling goods and the loop strength. Thus for example the perfected absorbency behaviour ensures a faster and more even absorbency of moisture which translates into more well-being for the skin.
Brilliant colors to last a life time
The softness and brilliant colors of Lenzing Modal® LOFT fiber are likewise unbeatable. The terry toweling products are bright in color and even after 20 washes the brightness and softness are still outstanding. Graying, which occurs in towels of cotton, is not a problem with the new fiber from Lenzing. Towels of Lenzing Modal® LOFT are, therefore, items of pure luxury.
The best that the plant world has to offer – the botanic alternative
Lenzing Modal® LOFT comes directly from Nature and this is something that can be felt immediately. Lenzing fibers are extracted from plants according to the principle of photosynthesis on which botany is based. Plants convert carbon dioxide and water into wood and pure oxygen. At an age in which environmental awareness is increasing, textiles of Lenzing Modal® LOFT are a responsible and eco-friendly botanic alternative.

HYBRIDENIM – Jeans for the days to come.
TEJIDOS Royo and Lenzing Fibers have created the first HYBRIDENIM collection with TENCEL® and ORGANIC COTTON. The very first result, known as E[DOS], is thus an important part of the overall HYBRIDENIM fabric collection from TEJIDOS Royo. This innovation will be presented at the Bread&Butter in Berlin from the 1st – 3rd of July 2009.
